The boys quickly obeyed their father, knowing that if they even seemed to have hesitated for an instant, their father would unleash his fiery wrath upon them.

The twins watched bewildered by their fathers words and by the circle which had begun to glow. In the midst of the circle images flashed from a different realm. One that was full of life, yet seemed to lack the magic that Mias and Elias were accustomed to seeing in their world.
