Elle sat on the floor staring in to the old wooden trunk. Everything in it was old fashioned, not that she minded that however all the dresses required assistance from another person at least as far as she could tell. She sighed it was bad enough that she was stuck in another world but now the only thing she had to wear were dresses, to make matters worse dresses that she couldn't even put on by herself. She slumped over silently letting tears slip down her cheeks,

I can't stand this she thought to herself.

She sat there silently crying for a few minutes before she noticed a very pretty blue at the very bottom of the trunk. She wiped her face off with her hands then reached in and tugged gently on the blue material to test its durability. It felt somewhat like it was made out of silk but it also seemed much sturdier like it would be harder to rip. With the only thought in her mind to see what this beautiful shade of blue belonged to, she proceeded to dig out the material, no longer worried that she might rip it. As she managed to release the blue fabric from its prison she realized that it was another dress however as she looked at this dress she could see that it was one she would be able to put on herself without any help. She sighed in relief and inspected the dress further see that it was an aquamarine blue that looked like a sapphire blue when it wasn't in the light, it was a simple dress that would cut just below her collar bone and had bell shaped sleeves. The neck line had black lace all the way around it as did the sleeves and the bottom of the dress, there was a dark brown leather belt hooked around the waist of the dress.

Its beautiful Elle thought in wonder before she started to change.

Timothy knew that Mias was enraged at the news he had just delivered, so he set about leaving as fast as he could so he could go to town and be back before Mias did something he would regret.

"Sebastian! I'm heading to town to buy miss Elle some proper clothing," Timothy called out to Sebastian who was cleaning something in the library

"As you wish master Timothy"

"It's just Timothy, Sebastian I am just an apprentice working for Mias, forget that I am of the same kin to him and treat me as you would anyone else" He replied quietly, walking away before Sebastian could even reply.

He didn't like being treated as though he was more than an apprentice, Mias probably didn't even see him as a blood relative anyway. Even though Mias had always been a very kind master he was extremely hard to please and could lose his temper quickly which, at times, seemed as bad as his fathers.

I can't really blame him Timothy thought to himself as he remembered how Mias's father treated everyone. He was a horrendous person and an even worse father. It was amazing that Mias turned out to be somewhat decent. Just a bit misunderstood at times. His brother on the other hand was an entirely different story, Timothy never knew what it was that caused Elias's soul to turn black. He only knew that it had something to do with the day his elder cousins got their marks, and he knew better than to ask Mias about it. Timothy walked out the front door and headed to town wondering how Elias soul turned and why.

Mias couldn't see straight, he knew Elias was trying to kill him, but to develop a poison that kills you when you use magic? It was absurd! The poison itself had to have magic in it so that I could target the magic being used which meant that the poison was still at work just not as badly.

Damn him! Mias cursed Elias in his head.

Now he would have to create an antidote and it would be painfully slow since he couldn't use his magic to do it, even with Timothys magic it would still take at least a month before he could possibly have the antidote finished. Mias didn't even want to think about what Elias would try while he knew Mias would be without his magic. Elias was much more skilled with daggers while Mias had always been more skilled with their magic. It had something to do with the day their father showed them the window that had given Mias his first glimpse of Elle.

Ever since that day Mias had his magic abilities, which was much earlier than anyone in their family. Elias felt he had to keep up with his twin so he became a master of daggers within a few months. Mias was lost in thought and he wouldn't have noticed that Elle had walked into the room if she hadn't almost tripped over her dress. Mias's mouth dropped instantly creating a surprised 'o' look which did not quite fit his face. He tried to move his mouth to speak, but all he could do was stare openly at her.

Elle was just starting to get really sick of Mias's deer in headlights with gaping fish mouth look. He had no reason to stare at her as though she had three heads, it wasn't like she was naked in front of him, or as though she wasn't wearing a dress when he first grabbed her.

"What are you staring at? Its not like I grew two extra heads, I'm just wearing something slightly more comfy." Elle pointedly told Mias.

"I was just surprised, that dress was my mothers favorite it just comes as a bit of a shock seeing another person in it, especially one as stunning as you" Mias replied his voice barely containing his surprise.

Elle blushed "oh, alright. I can see why it was her favorite, it feels like something you might get from where I'm from, just a little sturdier."

"It was the dress my mother was wearing when Thatias took her, she was from your world as well."

Mias face took on a bitter look and Elle felt a pang of sympathy for him.

"Your mother was kidnapped? from my world?" she asked in a small voice

"I'm not talking about this anymore feel free to walk around my home and get acquainted because you are going to be here for awhile" with that Mias walked out of the room as though it were on fire.

that was rude Elle thought to herself as she watched Mias hastily leave the room.

Poppy walked down the streets, toward Elles apartment. She knew she was probably over reacting, that the feeling in her gut was wrong, however Elle always answered the phone when she called. Even though she had literally seen her only mere hours before she couldn't help but wonder if something bad had happened to her friend. After all she was walking home alone in the night, She felt her stomach tighten as she walked up the stairs to Elles building.

Shes fine, probably sleeping late now that shes got time off Poppy thought to herself as she walked up to Elles apartment, thankful that Elle had given her a key so she could crash there if her shift ran over late.

Poppy knocked on the door and waited a few minutes before using her key to unlock it. She was only able to take two steps inside before a hand slipped over her mouth, and the last thing she saw before passing out was an ebony haired man with tattoo shading around his eyes slipping down the from the outer edges almost like tear drops.

its definitely not as good as the previous chapters but I'll keep working on it for you guys please give me feedback, I'm also sorry for not finishing this sooner I shall work on chapter three and hope that it turns out much better than this one so far.
